There are a few others - some actual message boards and such but I don't puruse them and can't remember the names/urls.

i know this is an old thread but i'd like to update the info:

http://www.SHAHdjs.com has almost all "bass culture" (dubstep, d'n'b, glitch hop, etc.) events and a lot of the raggae, breaks, and some underground house/techno events listed in the calendar section.

http://www.FNK.ca has a decent range of events listed

http://www.clubvibes.com has all the really clubby and usually douche-y mainstream events.

advice 1: never go to granville street downtown at night if you can help it, unless it's a show at the commodore ballroom or venue.
advice 2: if there's an event at the dollhouse, open studios, vivo, or the woods it's probably gonna be a pretty slammin' party and you don't have to deal with the retarded bridge and tunnel people who go to the granville strip.
