Looking at suggesting having some clothes made in tyke sizes and wondering who might cash in on the idea. A la cafepress.com, but not. heh

I don't want to disclose details in case the person who runs the website turns me down flat - but I'm hoping to get some positive numbers to encourage them. This would be from a music website frequented by a few of us, by a very talented designer. These would be COOLASS clothes if they turn out. I was thinking onesies, hoodies and T-shirts, and maybe caps.

Would you be game?

i think that type of stuff is great. the moms i know would luv it to but not spend the money on it.

kids wear out/grow out of clothes crazy fast and sometimes it seems a waste to spend a lot of money on them. i buy nice presents for my friend's little guy all the time but i know she won't spend a lot cause she can't afford it.

I hear that. Well this is a reputable designer we all know and love, and I think that although the clothes would be pricier than your avg Wally World deal, they'd be worth a small investment, and they wouldn't hit the realm of the ridiculous costwise. If the person is receptive to the idea I'll shed some light on who they are.

Sounds like a good idea, I just have a coupla q's.

When you say custom what does that mean exactly? will the child be measured and the clothes made from that or do you mean something else? And what is the expected price range? would people who dont frequent this board appreciate the clothes? I know a few people who are having or just had a baby but dont listen to the same type of music.

cheers

Depends on the clothes for me I guess.
If we are talking about things that Ivy can wear for 6 months and I can wash and pass on, than I'm in.
If we are dealing with trendy fashion of the moment stuff, or cutsie party kid wear than it would be no good.
Kids grow crazy fast those first two years.
I would miss you even if we had never met

What I mean by "custom" clothes is the designers like American Apparel or cafepress.com - where you have a standard size of T-shirt/onesie/etc. and a graphic is put on it.

Like... say you could buy a baby-size hoodie in navy with the Subtutious logo on it.

I promise to make this all a little clearer once I get an answer from the designer ;)

It would all depend on the the $$. I find it hard to buy anything new as Quinn will only where something for a few weeks.

If it's $10 or under, you'll have my attention.
