They aren't what you would call cuddly. I'm never sure how much they recognize people as other animals or just see them as part of the scenery. Mine roams free in my apartment and they can be litter trained.

I find it amusing that the date of Christmas was chosen in order to coincide with the pagan celebration of winter solstice in order to absorb the pagans into christianity. Instead, the holiday has just been secularized beyond recognition. Non-christians celebrate christmas. Its just not about a baby...
